UCI Circle K - Board Administrative Changes - Creating Legends Through Service

Board Administrative Changes

October 4, 2019 Authored by: Reginald Sellote
Hello, UC Irvine Circle K!

I have very important news regarding changes in our club administration.

One of our News Editors, Alyssa Chan, has resigned from her position as News Editor, due to personal choice. Chad Ruaburo, our Vice President of Administration, has also resigned from his position, also due to personal reasons.

In regards to our Vice President of Service, after months of no communication and missing action, we have declared a vacancy in the position of VPS. Your 2019-2020 Board and I have appointed Kristin Nguyen as our temporary VPS. She will be working alongside our board to provide meaningful service opportunities for you and other members in the next couple of weeks! We look forward to what she will provide and are grateful for her help!

Due to the vacancies on our Executive Board, Special Elections will take place for both positions after meeting on Tuesday of Week 4. Further information regarding the logistics will be released soon.

It is with a sad heart that we announce these things to you, but please keep in mind that the 2019-2020 Board and I are supportive of these individuals and their decisions, and we kindly hope the same from the club. Please know that we are doing our best to overcome these unexpected turn of events, move forward, and serve you in the best way we can! If you have any questions or thoughts, as always, never hesitate to reach out to me. I am here for you!
